How many ways can one illustrate the "red sun"?

Some time ago, I set out to explore answers to this question. The result was a series: red sun screen-prints, red sun acrylic and watercolor paintings, red sun photographs.

This simple collage is my favorite. It demonstrates the principle that an element can be communicated graphically in many ways with an endless variety of treatments.
