Here they are together on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico where they were born (la isla del ecanto), the inseparables.

They made the long flight to Florida along with me. But Roquera, my best girl, subsequently died
(far right).

I prefer painting on site, so when I look at this work I feel the tropical sun and hear the game fowl and guineas greedily searching for food.
